Meet the Doctor

Born and raised in the heart of Michigan, Dr. Ashtiani's journey in the field of optometry has taken her across borders, enriching her perspective and deepening her commitment to providing unparalleled care. She has cultivated a passion for vision care that transcends borders. Her journey has also been guided by a steadfast commitment to compassion and patient-centric care. She attended Michigan State University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry. Her residency then brought her back to Michigan, where she was trained in Ocular Disease and Physiology at the John D. Dingell VAMC. Dr. Ashtiani is a huge fan of traveling, spending time with her family, and taking part in any activities that involve the outdoors.
